COMMUNITY CONNECTION
What started as an online magazine publication highlighting Black arts and culture has evolved into a fully-fledged non-profit organization with our anchor retail and gallery space at Midtown Square in Seattle's Central District. We couldn't have done any of this without the support of our community!
Beyond ARTE NOIR's editorial content, which we still release on the fourth Thursday of every month, we are busy working with artists, makers, and local organizations to bring a variety of events to our location throughout the year. From exhibit openings and poetry readings to yoga and BIPOC farmers markets in the Midtown Square Plaza, we are honored by all the ways we get to connect with you!
WANT TO COLLABORATE?
Connecting with Black creatives and highlighting the talents of Black artists in our community is why we do what we do. Not only does our retail shop offer a variety of products from Black makers, but we also program a variety of events in our space and Midtown Square Plaza throughout the year.
If you are interested in partnering with us for an event, collaboration, or to inquire about selling your creations in our shop, please visit our Vendors + Collaborator page. If you are interested in receiving information about Black arts opportunities, visit the Black Artist Roster page. Individuals and organization looking to submit arts opportunities should visit the Submit an Arts Opportunity page. We are also actively seeking editorial suggestions and Black arts writers!
