LOVING ROOM BOOKS

This past October, our friend and neighbor, Loving Room: books + diaspora, sadly closed its doors. On their final day, they hosted a heartfelt "Loving You, Everything Must Go" sale, and of course, we had to show up and support. Loving Room was more than a bookstore—it was a warm and welcoming community space filled with literature from authors across the African Diaspora and unique specialty merchandise. While their location on 20th and Union is now closed, their online shop remains active, and they will gradually return to event bookselling.

We're excited to share that we've added a fantastic selection of titles from their collection to our store!

Looking for your next great read or a striking coffee table book? Stop by the shop to explore our expanded selection, including a spotlight on local authors. And the next time you see Kristina in the community, take a moment to thank her for cultivating such a meaningful space for gathering, learning, and celebrating. We can’t wait to support the next chapter of Loving Room Books!

In an art world where barriers often prevent Black artists from thriving and where outdated beliefs have questioned the beauty and place of Black women in fine art, George Jennings' latest exhibit, The Women, The Paper, and The Light, boldly challenges and dismantles these narratives.
