FEATURED VENDOR

HEY, BLACK SEATTLE! T-SHIRTS

Our friend Keisha Garrison of Hey, Black Seattle! has created a bold t-shirt for all the folks who want to support and represent Seattle, and it's now available in the shop!

Hey, Black Seattle! was conceived as a way to support people of the African diaspora in finding the cultural experiences and community resources they need to thrive while living in the Seattle area. The website is powered by an ever-expanding database fueled by collective knowledge of the people and organizations who are working to make a positive impact on Black lives in the region. This central hub of information improves the community's ability to discover the resources, spaces, & offerings they create. Hey, Black Seattle! and Keisha are beacons that shines a light on our opportunities to connect and sustain beautiful Black lives.

In an art world where barriers often prevent Black artists from thriving and where outdated beliefs have questioned the beauty and place of Black women in fine art, George Jennings' latest exhibit, The Women, The Paper, and The Light, boldly challenges and dismantles these narratives.
